" Simply put, Hsiang Yuen has some of the best Korean-Chinese food I've ever had! The garlic shrimp and sweet and sour pork were incredibly delicious and brought back fond memories of my childhood. The prices are very fair considering the generous portions. I’ll definitely be coming back to this hidden gem! " (*Curated Review*)
" It's not fancy, but you definitely can tell that the food is made with care. Each bite of jjajangmyun bursts with flavor! My friends and I had such a great time just sharing our dishes. The prices are reasonable relative to the large portions. Hsiang Yuen has made a fan out of me! " (*Curated Review*)
" I wanted to love this place after reading the glowing reviews, but my experience didn’t quite match the hype. The food was decent but lacked the authentic flavors I was craving. The service was friendly but scatterbrained. I wish they brought the dishes out all at once instead of piecemeal. Overall, it's an average experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" Not impressed. The restaurant was outdated and not visually appealing, but that's not the main issue. I found the sweet and sour pork too sweet and lacking that traditional taste that I love. It’s a shame because I was really looking forward to their Jjampong, but it fell flat too. The only saving grace was the quick service. " (*Curated Review*)
" Dined here for a quick lunch. The service was super fast which I appreciated! However, the food was only mediocre. Everything tasted pretty standard, despite the claims of authenticity. I expected more flavor. I'm not sure if I'd choose to return, but it wasn’t the worst experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" I've been searching for an authentic Korean-Chinese restaurant and finally stumbled upon Hsiang Yuen! The Jajangmyeon is incredible, with thick, savory black bean sauce. The portion was generous, making it great value for money. The service was quick, but I felt a bit rushed. Overall, highly recommend! " (*Curated Review*)
" This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. While the dishes I tried were decent, they lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The Jajangmyeon was just okay, and the service, while friendly, was quite slow. I left feeling a bit unsatisfied. Maybe I’ll return to give it another chance, but I was hoping for a better first impression. " (*Curated Review*)
