" Taverna Mercatto has it all - charm, ambiance, and taste, but my experience was somewhat mixed. The ambiance was inviting, with soft music enhancing the experience. Our waiter was polite and attentive. I had the seafood linguine; it was fresh but lacked seasoning, leaving much to be desired. The appetizers, however, dazzled; the calamari was perfectly cooked! For dessert, the panna cotta was a delight. That said, I feel the prices lean on the higher side given the inconsistency in the food’s flavors. I might return, but I’ll be selective about my orders. " An exceptional dining experience awaited us at Taverna Mercatto. We were greeted warmly at the door and quickly escorted to our table. The ambiance was cozy with a noticeable Italian flair. For appetizers, we started with the arancini which were perfect in their crispiness and flavor. For the main course, I chose the seafood linguine and it was delightful - generous portions of shrimp and mussels accompanied with a rich sauce that was not overly salty. The dessert menu was equally impressive; we indulged in the tiramisu. It was creamy, fluffy, and utterly delicious! The restaurant exudes Italian charm, and the ambiance is perfect for family gatherings or a romantic night out. We sampled their seafood linguine which was divine and packed with flavor, just like in Italy! The service, however, was a bit slow, but our waitress was always apologetic and tried her best. " I’ve always wanted to try Taverna Mercatto based on the rave reviews I've seen online, and I finally got my chance! Upon walking in, the rustic décor immediately set the mood. Our server was quite charming and narrated the specials of the day confidently. I had the classic lasagna which was well-made, though I found myself wishing for it to be slightly warmer. The portion was generous, which I appreciated! The dessert menu enticed us wildly; we shared the affogato. It was a wonderful ending to our meal.
