" I was really looking forward to trying Cocula, especially after reading all the rave reviews. While I did find the food decent, I didn’t think it was as spectacular as everyone made it out to be. I had the enchiladas, which felt a bit lackluster—definitely not bad, but not exciting either. Service was okay; my waiter didn’t check back with us as often as I’d have hoped. " Last night, I decided to take my family out to Cocula, which has become quite popular in town. We were welcomed warmly, and it didn’t take long for us to place our order. I went for the birria tacos, which were fantastic! The meat was juicy, and the accompanying consome was flavorful. My kids enjoyed the quesadillas, and I was happy to see them clean their plates. " During our family trip to Asheville, we happened upon Cocula and decided to give it a shot, and we weren't disappointed! The food was bursting with flavors, especially the tamales, which were some of the best I've had outside of Mexico. The service was efficient as our plates came out hot and fresh. The atmosphere had a wonderful energy to it, making it great for families and friends alike. It’s remarkable to find a gem like this that combines authenticity with great service.
