" I had high hopes for Hong Fat based on some recommendations, but I was let down completely. The fried rice was bland and dry, and the sweet and sour chicken had hardly any chicken in it—just a lot of breading. It felt like such a waste of money! Honestly, it was one of the worst meals I've had in a long time. Service was also subpar; the staff seemed disinterested and barely acknowledged me. I definitely won't be coming back. " Yesterday was my first and last visit to Hong Fat. The place was disappointing from the start. Despite being early for lunch, I had to wait for the service to even acknowledge me. The staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm and frankly disgusting. I've had plenty of Chinese food before, but this was nowhere near authentic. The chicken was raw and the vegetables tasted old. I don't see how they keep their doors open with such a mess. I would not recommend it to anyone, and I definitely won't be coming back.
