The lasagna had no distinctive flavor, and while the service was attentive, I felt it couldn't make up for the food. The live music was a nice touch but didn't enhance my overall experience. " I visited Trattoria La Scala during our recent trip to Quebec City and it was one of the highlights of our trip! The food is remarkable and there are a variety of options on the menu that showcase the best of Italian cuisine. I particularly loved the tiramisu; it was exquisitely made and just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere was romantic, filled with piano music. " Upon arriving at Trattoria La Scala, I expected a wonderful dining experience given its reputation. We ordered a 4-course meal which included a pasta dish that completely underwhelmed me. It tasted like it was straight from a boxed dinner with no real depth of flavor. The service was decent, and they did offer complementary drinks due to a mix-up with our order, which was a nice touch.
