" Mr. You QFR quickly became one of my personal favorites. The food is consistently fresh and bursting with flavor. The black pepper chicken is phenomenal! I appreciate how generous they are with their portions and their affordable prices make it even better. I return often, and I’ve never had a bad experience. The staff, particularly the lady who takes orders, is remarkably kind and attentive. Overall, this small restaurant holds its own against much larger establishments. " I visited Mr. You QFR last weekend, intrigued by all the rave reviews. I was not disappointed! The food was quite tasty, with an authentic vibe that reminded me of my trips to China. I tried their Shrimp Fried Rice and it was delicious, filled with fresh shrimp and veggies. The lady at the counter was cheerful and served decent portion sizes. The only downside was that it was quite busy, but the staff did a fantastic job managing the crowd. I plan to return soon, especially to try more dishes. Definitely a treasure in Mt. Vernon! " I had heard so much about the food at Mr. You QFR that I finally had to check it out for myself. I was welcomed right away and seated in a cozy corner of the restaurant. The waitress was very attentive and made sure our drinks were filled. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken, and while it was good, I unfortunately found it a bit lacking in spice compared to what I am used to. However, I must say that the fried rice that came with it exceeded my expectations! The portions were also very generous. My call to place an order went unanswered multiple times, and when I finally got through, the staff seemed snappy. My order took longer than expected and when I arrived to pick it up, my food was not fresh. It was disappointing after receiving such high praise.
