" Visiting from out of town, I decided to try out Pho Lien based on its high ratings. The pho did not disappoint! Rich with flavor and just the right amount of meat and noodles. The atmosphere was cozy but also quite crowded. It was a bit of a wait for a table, but the food was worth it. Make sure to bring cash, as that’s the only option here. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine. " (*Curated Review*)
" As a Vietnamese food enthusiast, I have to say Pho Lien truly stands out in Montreal's crowded restaurant scene. The pho I had here was unmatched, with a rich broth and fresh herbs that enhanced the entire dish. I also tried their spring rolls, which were crispy and delicious. Although the restaurant can get a bit noisy when busy, it adds to the vibrant atmosphere. I’ll definitely return whenever I’m in the area, and I will recommend it to my friends! " (*Curated Review*)
" Pho Lien has been around for a long time, and for good reason! Their pho is hands down some of the best I've ever tasted, reminiscent of what you'd find in Vietnam. I ordered the beef pho, which was both hearty and flavorful. The only downside was that the place was quite crowded, which made it a bit cramped. Be prepared to squeeze in. Overall, fantastic food and fairly quick service even when busy. Would come again for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" Pho Lien is a real treat! I came here with a couple of friends, and we ordered a variety of dishes to share. The standout for me was definitely the pho, which was aromatic and packed full of flavor. I usually prefer my pho with a bit of spice, and they let me add plenty of chili, which was great. The service was friendly and attentive. My only gripe was the limited space; it was hard to navigate with all the customers. A minor detail in an otherwise fantastic experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently tried Pho Lien and it was a bizarre experience. While the pho was good, I encountered issues with the service. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and took quite some time to take our orders. The food, once it arrived, was deliciously authentic, but the slow service put a damper on our experience. Not sure if I'll opt for takeout next time to avoid the wait, but I would still recommend trying the soup. " (*Curated Review*)
