" The experience at China House was not what I had expected it to be. The food didn't taste fresh, and the presentation was disappointing. I've had much better Chinese food at more reputable places. The price was quite high for the small portions served as well. The staff was friendly and polite but they are clearly fighting against outdated management practices and needs help to turn things around. I can't foresee myself returning anytime soon. " I have been trying to find a local Chinese restaurant that serves authentic food, and China House unfortunately disappointed me. My sesame chicken was sweet and lacked the depth of flavor that I expect from a quality Chinese dish. The fried rice was more like yellow rice with a few peas thrown in. " My visit today at China House was not what I had hoped for. The egg drop soup wasn't horrible, but that’s the only highlight of my meal. The chicken in my entry was overcooked, resembling rubber, and I found the prices to be quite outrageous given the quality of food served. " Our experience at China House started with fun when we arrived. We were warmly welcomed, but I lost that excitement once the food came out. I ordered the veggie lo mein, and it tasted bland, my partner’s sesame chicken tasted off. I was hoping for bolder flavors but received a dish that was unsatisfying and tasteless.
