" Dieters beware! Lotus of Siam is a feast for the senses. The rich decor sets the mood, and the menu has a myriad of tantalizing choices. I tried the crispy garlic prawns and the Khao Soi, both were excellent and left me wanting to try more. I must say, though, that portion sizes were a little small compared to what I expected for the price point. But with flavors this delicious, I won’t complain too much! " I visited Lotus of Siam expecting an authentic dining experience. The restaurant itself is stunning, with excellent decor. However, I was slightly disappointed with the food. The Pad See Ew was good but could’ve used more flavor. The service was fantastic, though! Our server was very knowledgeable and suggested some great cocktails that paired with our meal beautifully. " Lotus of Siam brings the flavors and aromas of Thailand right to Las Vegas. The setting is gorgeous, and the menu offers a lot of variety. I loved the sea bass in yellow curry; it was perfectly cooked! Although, I did notice that my friend who ordered a different dish got a much smaller portion compared to mine. " Lotus of Siam at Red Rock has a lovely atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner or a special occasion. The food is quite good, but I did have some misses in our meal. I ordered the Khao Soi which I had heard so many good things about, but I found it tasted a bit too sweet and not as spicy as I expected. However, my friend had the fried rice, and he loved it – he said it was one of the best he’s ever had! Service was friendly but there was a wait for our orders to arrive. We started with the fried calamari which was great, and then I went for the red curry with shrimp. While it was tasty, it was a bit on the sweeter side for my palate.
