" This small cafe offers a variety of choices, and their prices are unbeatable—definitely perfect for students on a budget. However, I did wish the atmosphere was more lively on the inside. Sometimes it feels really low energy, like you're eating in a library! In terms of taste, though, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything I had was packed with flavor. " It’s hard to find an authentic and inexpensive Taiwanese spot these days, but Hometown Cafe really is a gem. Their pick of dishes from the counter is impressive, and I was so happy with my meal! I loved that I could customize what I got. However, the dining area could be better maintained; a little scrubbing would do wonders.
