" Taqueria Cueramaro is my new holy grail for Mexican food! I would have never expected a taco truck in a gas station to provide such incredible authenticity. I had tacos de lengua, and they were simply heavenly; tender meat, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime to top it off. I felt transported back to Mexico with every bite. The service was quick and friendly; I didn’t feel rushed even though it was busy. The only thing I think could improve would be the seating area; it’s a bit cramped. " I tried Taqueria Cueramaro for the first time and didn't quite understand the hype surrounding it. Yes, the tacos were good, but they didn't stand out compared to my regular spot. I ordered chicken tacos and although they were good, I expected a bit more zing - but that's subjective. The service was friendly, and the outdoor picnic seating is a nice touch if the weather is nice. " I'm a huge fan of good Mexican food, and after a friend raved about Taqueria Cueramaro, I had to drop by. I ordered their steak torta, and it was excellent! The size was quite large for the price, and the flavors were bright and bold, reminiscent of authentic recipes. The owner was incredibly nice and welcoming; he shared some of the history of the truck’s establishment. I really appreciate places where I feel personally connected to the owner. I usually get their tacos de carnitas, and they are packed with meat! The price for the quality and portion is unbeatable. " My visits to Taqueria Cueramaro have always been satisfactory, but I think I may have overhyped it in my mind. The ambiance is a classic food truck scene, which is cozy, but this time, there was a long wait. I ordered a steak torta which was massive and pretty tasty, but I felt like the seasoning was slightly off. Maybe it was just this particular day? The owner was still very friendly despite the busy rush. I do enjoy authentic flavors, and I know they deliver that in most instances, so I’ll be back – hoping it’s more impressive next time.
