" We had a family gathering at Kobe Teppan & Sushi, and the environment was just right. Everyone felt welcome, and the sushi was surprisingly good for the price. But I must say the service could use improvement. There were a few times we had to follow up on our orders and drinks. Nonetheless, the kids enjoyed the hibachi, which made it all worthwhile. " My experience was less than stellar. While the hibachi chef was entertaining, the food left much to be desired. I found the shrimp to be overcooked, and the rice was lacking on flavor compared to what I have experienced at other Japanese steakhouses. The atmosphere was nice, but overall, I was expecting more from the sushi, which is what I came for. Unfortunately, I left disappointed, and I don’t think I’ll return.
