" Simply put, Taste of Italy is a must-visit! Their homemade garlic rolls are to die for and paired perfectly with the marinara sauce. The seafood pasta I ordered was plentiful and bursting with flavor—clearly made with fresh ingredients. Our server was super friendly, and she recommended I try their special dessert, which was an amazing panna cotta. The lake view only made our dining experience more enjoyable. " I was pleasantly surprised by this Italian restaurant! The flavors were genuine, and I especially enjoyed the calamari appetizer—it was light and tender. I had the shrimp scampi, which was perfectly cooked and accompanied by garlic bread that melted in my mouth. It’s a BYOB place which is a plus since you can bring your favorite wine. The service was friendly, although there was a slight delay in getting our food, but everything was fresh and hot upon arrival. I would definitely come back again for a wonderful meal with a view! " I had high hopes for Taste of Italy, based on all the glowing reviews. And for the most part, it did not disappoint! The ambiance is cozy, and the lakeside view is beautiful. However, my penne arrabbiata was a bit less spicy than I expected, lacking that traditional kick. On the other hand, the garlic bread was fantastic and the highlight of my meal. The service was stellar, quick, and very accommodating. I appreciate that they allow BYOB since it gave us the flexibility to enjoy our favorite bottle with dinner.
