" I visited Yi Peng based on some high recommendations and I'm glad I did! The place has a unique style that gives off good vibes. We tried the seafood platter and found the shrimp to be fresh but felt some of the other seafood items might not have been as high quality as expected. Service was generally good but a bit slow though the restaurant was busy. I'd still give it another shot, as the flavors in the curry and their spring rolls were authentic and tasty. Overall, a solid choice for Thai. " (*Curated Review*)
" Yi Peng was full of surprises! I stumbled upon this little gem while looking for a place for dinner with friends, and it didn’t disappoint. The crispy pork belly was delightful, and the presentation of all dishes was stunning. I’d say the portions were a bit on the smaller side, especially for shareable items. Our server was quick, but sometimes forgot to check in. However, the food's quality made up for it, and I would definitely return! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had high hopes for Yi Peng after all the buzz. The decor is stunning, and the service was attentive and warm. We ordered the high flame wok curry, which was lovely but a tad too sweet for my taste. I enjoy spicy, with vibrant flavors, and here it felt somewhat muted. I loved the tom yum soup, though! It had the right kick I was looking for. Portions felt a bit small for the price as well. I think they do their best to bring authentic Thai flair, but it's not quite hitting the mark. Worth a try, but may not be my first choice. " (*Curated Review*)
" Yi Peng has become one of my go-to restaurants in town. The dishes are diverse - I’ve tried multiple items including the crab cakes which were delightful, spiced perfectly with a hint of heat. The friendly staff made me feel at home, constantly checking in to ensure my dining experience was top-notch. However, my only complaint would be about the minimal portion for the price. It’s a little on the higher side for casual dining, but the quality of the food makes up for it somewhat. Overall, I do find myself coming back quite often. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had the pleasure of dining at Yi Peng and must mention how much I loved their coconut rice pudding! Beyond that, my favorites were the pad see ew and the drunken noodles. Each dish had its own character and was prepared well! I felt the portions were decent for sharing with friends but could be individually bigger. Service was great; the staff genuinely cared about our experience. I’m looking forward to returning for more! " (*Curated Review*)
" I absolutely loved Yi Peng! It's a charming restaurant with a modern flair and a kind, helpful staff. We ordered the curry and the fried rice, and both were exceptional! Authentic flavors shone through, reminding me of my travels in Thailand. My only critique would be that I found the dessert options to be lacking, and the portions could be better for the price. But definitely a place worth visiting for the main dishes. " (*Curated Review*)
" My family and I recently tried Yi Peng, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a family gathering. We shared various appetizers including the soft-shelled crab, which was definitely a highlight! The curries were well-balanced, but we found that flavor depth could vary between dishes. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent suggestions. While the portion sizes were acceptable, we wished there were more substantial servings for the price. Nevertheless, we would return for the coziness and warm service. " (*Curated Review*)
