" I had a wonderful time at Demae! The service was excellent—from the moment we walked in, the staff was attentive and polite. I can highly recommend the miso soup, which was rich and flavorful. " I have to say that my friends and I were completely blown away by Demae. After initially being hesitant due to the restaurant's quiet atmosphere during our visit, we were met with some of the best authentic Japanese food I've had in years. The chicken teriyaki was deliciously charred and served with perfect sides. The bento boxes provided a tremendous amount of food for the price. On Tuesdays, I heard they have a sushi roll promotion that I am looking forward to trying next time. I ordered a seafood udon dish, which was enjoyable but could have used a bit more depth in flavor. That being said, the bento box option appeared popular amongst other diners, and the portions are definitely worth mentioning as generous and satisfying.
