" I visited DaRuMa during the week and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was seated. The food was very fresh, especially the sushi! The staff was polite and kept checking in to ensure we were enjoying our meal. I felt the prices were reasonable for the quality we received. However, I was disappointed with the portion sizes of the rice and veggies with my hibachi order compared to what I've seen at other restaurants. The sushi was beautifully plated and tasted fresh. However, the hibachi meal was average at best; the chef's show was uninspired compared to what I've experienced elsewhere. " What a fantastic night we had at DaRuMa! It was our anniversary, and while reservations are a must on a Saturday night, we still felt welcomed. Our chef was exceptional, entertaining us with his cooking skills while serving delicious meals right in front of our eyes. The atmosphere was delightful, complete with piano music in the background. This place definitely has the authentic Japanese feel we've been searching for. Just one thing to note – prices are a bit higher than expected, but it was worth every penny for the experience!
