" I cannot express how disappointed I was with my experience at China Palace 2. I had heard mixed reviews, but I hoped for the best. It felt like something was missing, and the chicken itself was a bit chewy. I also noticed that the portions were smaller than what I'm used to for the price. " China Palace 2 isn't bad, but it definitely isn't great either. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and it was decent. I found it a bit oily, and the shrimp were few and far between. " I've eaten at China Palace 2 numerous times over the years. It's a bit of a mixed bag; some days, the food is fabulous, especially their dumplings, but other times, I feel like I’m eating sub-par takeout. Recently, I ordered the garlic chicken, and though the flavors were great, the chicken was a little overcooked and chewy. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired; it's always rather cluttered and dark. Nevertheless, their prices are reasonable, which is a plus.
