I ordered the shrimp cocktails, thinking I'd get the traditional expected taste, but this was a bit lackluster. The shrimp were big and should have been great, but they lacked seasoning! The staff is friendly and genuinely cares about guests' experiences. I ordered the tamales, and they were hands down the best I’ve ever had! They were moist and came with a rich green salsa that elevated the experience to another level. Not to mention their margaritas were refreshing! " After hearing great things, I finally decided to try El Mex-Kal Family Mexican, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The decor had a wonderful homey vibe, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We started with their complimentary chips and salsa, which were delicious. For the main course, I ordered the shrimp tacos, and I was blown away by the freshness and flavor. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, and the tacos were loaded with toppings. My friend got the chicken enchiladas and loved them as well. We were both very full by the end of the meal yet couldn't resist trying dessert – the flan was the perfect sweet ending.
