" We visited Taste Place after seeing it recommended online. I was excited to try their famous crab rangoons and was not let down. They were crunchy on the outside and creamy inside! The service was attentive, though we had a bit of a wait for our entrees. Still, the sweet and sour chicken was bursting with flavor! " Wow! Taste Place exceeded all my expectations. I went here for a celebratory dinner with friends, and we ordered a wide array of dishes—including the spicy mapo tofu, hot pot, and garlic bok choy. I can safely say it's the best Chinese food I’ve ever had in the Midwest! Each dish sang with flavor and freshness, it reminded me of the meals I enjoyed back in China. The ambiance was perfect for dinner with friends, comfortable yet elegant. Our server was also incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes, helping us pick the perfect combinations. " This place is awesome! The hot pot was flavorful and filled with an assortment of meats and fresh veggies—definitely a winner here. I also tried the Kung Pao chicken, which was delightful and not overly sweet or spicy. The only downside was that it can get really busy, so make a reservation if you can.
