Not to mention, it’s clean and well-kept, which made me feel comfortable during my brief visit. However, the cramped space can be a drawback, especially if you’re trying to eat in. " Idly Express is a cozy little place where I can always count on a good meal. Their masala filter coffee is a revelation! I paired it with the vada and it was divine. The crunchiness of the vada against the soft idli is a match made in heaven. I must mention, though, that their takeout approach could lead to a bit of wasted plastic, which is concerning. " I visited Idly Express during lunch hours, and it was busy! The staff worked hard to keep up with the demand, and although I had to wait a bit longer, the food was worth it. I had the tomato onion uthappam, and it was flavorful, with the right amount of chili heat. I also loved the fresh coconut chutney that came with it. " My last visit was quite disappointing. While the idlis were fine, they were lacking the flavor I remembered from earlier visits. The sambar was also lacking in quantity, which is a letdown considering how essential it is to enjoy the idlis fully. For the price, I'd expect a bit more effort into the portions and taste consistency. It's hard for me to recommend this place with such variations in quality.
