" Sadly, my experience at China House was disappointing. I had heard from friends that it was a hidden gem, but my first visit proved otherwise. I ordered vegetable fried rice and was shocked to find it overly salty, tasting mostly of soy sauce with no fresh ingredients in sight. The egg drop soup was bland, and the ambiance just didn’t feel welcoming. I give it a 1 star rating because the food was simply not palatable, and I won’t be returning. " (*Curated Review*)

" I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience at China House. The restaurant seems to have some serious authenticity issues with the dishes they serve. My last meal felt very Americanized, which was disappointing. Service was friendly, but the food lacked the fresh flavors I was searching for. The dining area could use some TLC, and I felt rushed during my visit. Regrettably, I wouldn’t recommend it. I would rate it below average at 2 stars. " (*Curated Review*)

" I’m a regular at China House as it’s one of the few places around, but I've had my share of decent and not-so-great meals. The lo mein is a family favorite, but they have run into trouble by not having fresh ingredients at times. The general customer service is good. The staff is friendly and they remember me, which is a nice touch. However, the atmosphere sometimes feels like you're in the back of a warehouse. It leaves a little to be desired, but if you’re looking for something quick and reliable, it fits the bill. Overall, I’d give it a 3. " (*Curated Review*)

" I was hesitant to try China House given some reviews I’d read, but I decided to give it a chance. My sesame chicken was satisfying, mildly spicy with a great crunch, and their fried rice was tasty. The service was attentive, as I didn't have to wait long for my order. The ambiance isn’t fancy, but it’s cozy enough for a casual meal. For a quick dinner, I rate it a 4. It isn't mind-blowing, but it's worthy of returning to. " (*Curated Review*)

" The restaurant is best known for its crab rangoon and lo mein, and I fully agree! Both dishes are outstanding and always exceed my expectations. The staff is friendly and works hard to create a great experience for diners. However, the atmosphere can feel a bit cramped, and it can get busy during peak hours. Overall, I would rate China House a solid 5 for consistently delivering great food. " (*Curated Review*)

" I’ve visited China House more often than I’d like to admit. The food was outstanding during my last visit! Their fried rice was delicious and savory, almost addictive, and the sweet and sour chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The service was friendly and fast, and they always make you feel like a valued customer. However, the ambiance could use a facelift. Rating this experience a 5; I will keep returning as long as they keep this quality. " (*Curated Review*)

" My experience at China House was surprisingly pleasant! I had the sesame chicken and it was juicy and flavorful, definitely one of the better dishes I’ve had there. Also tried their fried rice for the first time, and while I wouldn’t say it was amazing, it certainly wasn’t bad either. The staff was polite and attentive, making for a nice evening overall. I'd recommend giving it a shot if you’re in the area. Although I wouldn’t travel far for it, I’d rate it a 4 out of 5. " (*Curated Review*)
