" Had a lovely dining experience at Golden Chinese Restaurant. The food was fantastic overall – we loved the combination plates which offered a variety of flavors. Service was very friendly, but we did have a bit of a wait for our meal since they seemed busier than usual. The atmosphere is cozy, but a little cramped if you visit during peak times. " Golden Chinese Restaurant is hands down my favorite spot for takeout! What I love most is the consistency in flavor; every time I order, I know I’m going to get a meal that tastes just as good as the last. Their beef with broccoli is phenomenal – tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory sauce. The employees are always friendly when I call to place my order, which is an added bonus. " I've been to many Chinese restaurants, so I think I have high expectations. Golden Chinese Restaurant had some good qualities but just didn't meet all of my standards. The ginger beef was very tasty; however, their fried rice lacked flavor. While most of the staff was friendly, there was a server who seemed preoccupied and uninterested. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, but it lacked that authenticity I typically seek in a Chinese restaurant. It’s a decent choice for takeout, but I might look elsewhere for dining in.
