" Visited Minami for a friend's birthday celebration and it was a delightful experience. The decor is gorgeous and sets the perfect mood for dining. We ordered multiple appetizers to share, and the flavors were exquisite! I particularly liked the beef sukiyaki, which had a nice balance of savory and sweet. Our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of without hovering. It is pricier, but I felt like the quality of the food justifies it. " Minami is a top-tier sushi restaurant! My husband and I dined there not too long ago and we were impressed. The selection of sushi was extensive, and the quality superb. I highly recommend trying their Poke Nachos – truly unique and a perfect start to the meal. Although the service was a bit slow at times, overall it was very pleasant. The atmosphere was chic and perfect for our evening out. Prices are on the higher side but justified with the quality of food served. Will certainly be coming back for another date! " I wanted to love Minami after all the good press, but it fell a little short for me. The setting is gorgeous with great ambiance, but I found that the service lacked the warmth I expected, even though it was efficient. The food was good, but while all the sushi we ordered was fresh, I felt like a few items were lacking in seasoning – especially the black cod.
