" Walking into Osakana is like stepping into a traditional Japanese fish market, with a welcoming vibe that immediately makes you feel at home. I was blown away by the quality of the sushi here. The fish were incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared, and the staff was eager to share their knowledge about the types of fish available. I ordered the Chirashi, which was a beautiful, colorful platter that not only tasted great but visually pleased as well. This place is hands down my new favorite for sushi night! I'll definitely be back to try their sushi-making classes next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had an exquisite experience at Osakana! The fish here feels so fresh, it’s practically swimming off your plate. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere leans towards the bustling side, which I quite enjoyed as it felt alive and vibrant. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy sushi that respects traditional craftsmanship while using top-tier ingredients. I'm excited to come back for my sushi fix! " I’ve ordered from Osakana many times, both for takeout and dine-in. Their consistency is impressive. The fish is always incredibly fresh, and their takeout sushi is almost as good as eating in. My favorite is the chirashi; it never disappoints. I also love their variety of fish, which keeps things exciting. Furthermore, the staff is consistently friendly and helpful when I call or visit. If you're looking for quality sushi in Brooklyn, look no further than Osakana! " (*Curated Review*)
" Although I had high expectations, my first visit left me lukewarm. Sure, the sushi was fresh, but I felt it lacked that authentic flair one would hope for from a dedicated sushi place. The service was a bit slow, which didn’t help the experience. The atmosphere was pleasant enough, but it didn’t feel as inviting as I expected. I might give it another shot in the future since everyone raves about it, but the first impression didn’t quite hit the mark for me. " (*Curated Review*)
" Last night, I decided to treat myself and ordered some sashimi from Osakana. The slices were pristine, clean, just the way sashimi should be. Had a lovely chat with the staff about the fish they had that day; their expertise was notable, making the experience much more enjoyable. The portion was decent for the price. I can’t wait to try their sushi-making class next! This place has truly found a fan in me. " (*Curated Review*)
" This restaurant has the most welcoming vibe and phenomenal sushi. I've tried their simplified sashimi platter, and it's mind-blowing! The freshness is unparalleled, and the hints of different marinades created a delightful experience. A great place to celebrate special occasions. I do think the restaurant can get crowded at times, but that's a testament to the great food. Overall, I would definitely recommend Osakana. " (*Curated Review*)
" I visited Osakana for the sushi workshop, and it was an enlightening experience! The chef had a deep knowledge of fish varieties and assured us the fish was sourced locally and sustainably. During the workshop, we made a variety of rolls, all of which tasted phenomenal. The only downside was that I felt we could have used a bit more hands-on time rolling the sushi ourselves, but overall, it was a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and the space was cozy. I hope to come back for a sit-down meal next time! " (*Curated Review*)
