The selection of dishes was impressive; I decided to go for the carne asada platter. The meat melted in my mouth and was grilled to perfection. The rice and beans complemented it wonderfully. I noticed that they also offer sauces ranging from mild to extremely spicy, which is a huge plus for me as I enjoy a kick in my meals. The atmosphere is casual since it's mostly a take-out venue, but don't let that fool you; these guys know how to cook. I ended up loading my plate with extra salsa and can't recommend this place enough. Make sure you arrive early if you want to snag their tamales—the staff warned they sell out fast!
