" After hearing about Aoki, my partner and I decided to give it a shot. We ordered a few rolls and were impressed with the freshness but felt that some of the flavors were a little off. The setting is lovely and casual, making it an easily approachable spot for sushi. While it’s not the best I’ve ever had, I believe it’s a pretty solid choice if you’re in the neighborhood. Room for improvement, but they’re headed in the right direction. " (*Curated Review*)
" Aoki Sushi & Grill was a surprising find! The quality of the sushi was impressive and the rolls were crafted with so much care. I tried a variety of items from the menu, and while some were exceptional, there were a couple I felt missed the mark a bit. However, overall, the experience was delightful, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to sample more! The ambiance makes it a lovely date spot as well. " (*Curated Review*)
" I enjoyed my recent lunch at Aoki. I ordered the bento, filled with delightful items, especially the fried mackerel which was a pleasant surprise. The authenticity was somewhat inconsistent between dishes. While the nigiri was high quality, the chicken katsu had a different flavor palette than I expected. This isn't to say I didn't enjoy my meal; I certainly did! The service was pleasant and the overall feel was warm and inviting. I would recommend for lunch! " (*Curated Review*)
" Having lived in Japan for a couple of years, I visited Aoki with trepidation, half-expecting it to be another generic sushi Americanized version of the cuisine. To my delight, I found the fish to be fresh, and many of their dishes felt quite authentic. Of particular note was the salmon belly, which melted in my mouth and transported me back to Tokyo. The gyoza, however, was not quite what I was looking for; maybe it was more of a fusion than an authentic Japanese dish. Still, if you want a taste of Japan in a cozy setting, this is the place. " As a sushi lover and a frequent diner exploring new places, I stumbled upon Aoki Sushi & Grill and was absolutely thrilled by my meal. The spicy tuna roll burst with flavor, and the presentation was top-notch, which is key for any sushi experience. The portion sizes were generous too, which I appreciated. However, a couple of my friends did mention that their gyoza was not up to par, which I found surprising. Next time, I’ll stick to the sushi for sure! Still, I left satisfied and happy — looking forward to going back! " (*Curated Review*)
" Just had my first experience at Aoki, and I am absolutely impressed! I had the seaweed salad as a starter, and it was fresh and flavorful. For my main, I ordered a bento box that had a nice variety. It was a pretty good bang for your buck! Overall, this place has pretty solid sushi and definitely affordable prices. I'll be back soon to try more. " (*Curated Review*)
" Had a delightful dinner at Aoki. The rolls were flavorful and packed with fresh ingredients. Even the miso soup was rich and warm. My partner and I shared a few different rolls and every bite was satisfying. The atmosphere was nicely done, making it an enjoyable night. I think Aoki has become my new favorite sushi spot based on tonight's experience! " (*Curated Review*)
