" I had heard great things about Amylos Taverna, so I decided to drop by for lunch. The ambiance was lovely, but I was a bit disappointed in the service. It took a while for someone to take my order which was frustrating. However, the food made up for it! I ordered the classic moussaka, and it was fantastic; rich and hearty! " Discovered Amylos during a food tour and decided to return for dinner. I was not disappointed! The pita served with olive oil was warm and fragrant, providing a solid opening. My entrée was a delicious moussaka, and I can honestly say it's one of the best I’ve had outside of Greece! The atmosphere was delightful with soft music playing, and the servers always had a smile. " My family hosted my birthday dinner at Amylos, and I couldn’t be happier! The staff arranged a private area for us, and the service was amazing! The food was everything I hoped for; everything was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. We especially loved the grilled octopus and the lamb dishes. Big ups to the chef for making such authentic Greek food as it reminded me of home. When we all finished, the staff even surprised me with a complimentary dessert.
