" I gave New China a shot after hearing friends rave about it. The first thing I noticed was how busy the place was, which usually is a good sign. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and was shocked at how much oil was used—everything felt greasy rather than fresh. The spiciness was spot on, but I still felt let down overall since I was expecting something a lot more vibrant and authentic.
