" Unfortunately, my visit to Los Portales was far from what I had hoped. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and was let down by its blandness. The shrimp seemed overcooked and lacked flavor; certainly not what I expected from a place serving Mexican cuisine. To add to that, I found the waitstaff less than attentive. It took longer than it should have to get my order and even longer to receive the bill. While the atmosphere has promise, the service really dampened the experience.
