I had the egg fried rice and the chicken. While everything was edible, I expected more flavor. The service was also lacking; I felt like I was bothering the staff by ordering. " This was my first experience with Hong Kong Express and to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. I ordered some shrimp lo mein and the shrimp tasted off. I also found some hair in my food which completely ruined my meal. While I did receive a refund, I won’t be returning because hygiene is a big concern for me. " Hong Kong Express is a gem in a crowded market! I was pleasantly surprised at how authentic my dish tasted. The Kung Pao Chicken had the right amount of spice and flavor balance. It's hard to find this level of authenticity in takeout places! On the down side, I did have to wait quite a bit as they were busy, and I noticed the staff was a bit disorganized. The lady at the front seemed quite overwhelmed and didn’t have the patience to answer my questions about the menu. However, once we dug into the meal, things turned around.
