" Chavez Supermarket has always felt like a home away from home for me. When I step through the doors, I feel the comfort of familiar flavors. Their taqueria serves up some of the best tacos outside of my grandmother's kitchen. I’ve brought family members here who don't usually eat Mexican food, and they were all impressed! I just wish their checkout lines moved a bit faster, though. It can get frustrating when I’m eagerly awaiting a meal. " Chavez Supermarket is definitely worth the visit! I decided to try their pollo asado, and it was one of the best I’ve had outside of my grandma’s kitchen. They serve large portions, and I left feeling satisfied! Staff at the meat counter was quite helpful. However, I encountered some challenges with my order at the register; it took some time for the cashier to complete my purchase. Regardless, the mouth-watering food will definitely bring me back. " I had high hopes for Chavez as I’ve heard so much hype, and while I wasn't completely disappointed, they didn’t live up to my expectations. The grocery selection is decent, but I felt it could be more diverse. The taqueria food was alright but lacked some of the punch I associate with more authentic flavors. Also, I noticed that some of the staff didn’t seem particularly interested in helping customers.
