" My experience at Amea Café was a mixed bag. Although the décor is stunning, the whole cafeteria-style experience was not to my liking. I ordered the egg and bacon croissant; it was fine but nothing to write home about. The service was minimal since you have to order at the counter and just wait for your food. Still, the pastries were fresh and inviting. Overall, while I appreciated the effort put into the food presentation, I left wanting more flavor. I believe they can do better. Unfortunately, I would rate it 2 out of 5 given the mediocre food experience. " (*Curated Review*)
" Disappointing. I was excited to try Amea Café after hearing rave reviews, but I found the food overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered their pizza, but it tasted reheated and bland. The croissant was too dry for my liking. The ambiance was nice, but that couldn't make up for the food's shortcomings. Service was also lackluster, with long wait times, making it a frustrating experience overall. Perhaps it was a bad day for them, but I won't return based on this experience. Rating: 2 out of 5. " I recently visited Amea Café and was met with a warm and inviting ambiance, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. I chose their blueberry croissant with a mocha, which was delicious. The croissant was flaky and fresh, while the mocha had the right balance of chocolate and coffee. The only downside was the price – I expected a little more for what I paid. Overall, though, I would give a strong 4 out of 5. " (*Curated Review*)
" I enjoyed my visit to Amea Café but had a few mixed feelings. Initially, the vibe is fantastic - a well-decorated space with plenty of light and seating. We ordered avocado toast and a cappuccino. While my avocado toast was decent, I expected it to be made with fresh avocados rather than a spread. It felt a bit disingenuous. The cappuccino was on point though, creamy and rich. Service was acceptable, but we did wait longer than expected for our food despite the café not being overly busy. So in short, it's a pretty place with some hits and misses. I would give them a 3.5 overall, hoping they can improve on authencity! The prices are relatively high compared to what you get. " (*Curated Review*)
" What a gem Amea Café is! I stopped by recently and was blown away by the charm of the place and the delicious offerings. The shakshuka was exquisite and just the right amount of spice. Their coffee options are broad and flavorful, so I tried the matcha latte, which was creamy and perfectly balanced. I also indulged in their pistachio croissant, which was the highlight of my meal - flaky, rich, and utterly delightful! I can see why it's often packed, but the ambiance is so inviting that waiting a bit for a table is well worth it. I will definitely be coming back for more! Their weekend brunch is officially on my agenda. Overall, I rate this café a solid 5 out of 5! Balancing breakfast specialties with excellent coffee in such a vibrant setting is a winning combination. Highly recommend it to anyone in Montreal. Keep up the good work! " (*Curated Review*)
" Perfect little café! Amea Café pulled off a charming setup, and their avocado toast was one of the freshest I have tasted! I enjoyed the beautiful decor too. The only hiccup was slightly delayed service due to the crowd. However, that does not detract from the delicious food I had. I will certainly be returning soon. 4 out of 5 stars from me! " Amea Café is quite a beautiful place to enjoy casual dining, although it was quite busy when I visited. The menu is diverse, and I was very pleased with my salmon avocado toast. The pairing with a refreshing smoothie made my meal complete. However, I felt some items were a bit overpriced for the portion sizes. Despite this, I can see myself returning. Overall, I rate it a strong 4. " (*Curated Review*)
