" Okay, I must share my experience at Tortilleria La Grande. Upon arrival, it appeared clean and inviting, which was a plus! I ordered their famous tamales and was stunned by the size. Seriously, I've never seen such massive tamales before. While they were sizeable, they lacked the flavor I was expecting, which is a bummer. I had to offset the dryness with their green salsa, which helped a bit. Service was prompt although they could have been more friendly. Overall, not a bad experience, but I would probably try something else next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" The atmosphere was nice, and the barbacoa tacos were absolutely to die for! I feel like I could eat them every week. The staff was attentive and helpful. Tamales were pleasant though a bit on the heavy side; however, the flavor could use some enhancement. Overall, it’s a delightful stop, especially if you're craving authentic Mexican delights. " Unfortunately, I was quite let down during my recent visit. I heard so many good things about Tortilleria La Grande. Sadly, the tamales were not as great as other reviewers suggested. They were large, but accompanied by a lack of flavor. The meats should have had a seasoning boost. The service was decent, nothing too remarkable. I may give it another shot, but set my expectations lower next time. " (*Curated Review*)
" Wow, what a culinary gem! I recently discovered Tortilleria La Grande and can't believe I waited this long to try the food. The barbacoa tacos were out of this world – melt-in-your-mouth goodness! Each bite was bursting with authentic flavors that took me straight to Mexico. The serving sizes were more than generous, leaving me fully satisfied without breaking the bank. I was so impressed that on my next visit, I ordered a dozen tamales to take home! The staff was warm and welcoming, making the experience even better. I highly recommend this establishment to any taco lover! " (*Curated Review*)
" I can't say the same for everyone, but my experience at Tortilleria La Grande was disappointing. Although I’ve heard wonderful stories about their tamales, they didn’t live up to my expectations. They were not bad, just bland and a bit dry, which is not what I hoped for. On the flip side, the service was alright; the staff was polite but could have been more attentive. I had higher hopes going in, but for my taste, I wouldn't be going back anytime soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" I stopped by Tortilleria La Grande after hearing countless recommendations and I’m glad I did! The staff welcomed me warmly, and right from the start, I felt at home. I sampled the tamales, which were massive and bursting with flavor. They use quality ingredients which makes all the difference. The barbacoa was also top-notch; I took it home to share with my family, and they loved it too! I anticipate returning and sharing this place with more friends. Dollar for dollar, it’s such an incredible value. " (*Curated Review*)
" This spot is a classic for delicious tamales! I’ve brought my family here multiple times, and it’s never failed us. High-quality ingredients, generous quantities, and just overall good vibes! The barbacoa is a must-try too. Each visit reminds me of my childhood, reminiscing about my grandmother's cooking. I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a try. You will not regret!
