" I’ve tried Shun Xing a few years back and had a completely different experience. Back then, the flavors were vibrant, and the service was top-notch. Unfortunately, during my last visit, I was greeted with bland food, and the service staff seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. The hot and sour soup is lifeless, and it feels like they’ve lost their touch since the new owners took over. I almost didn’t want to leave a negative review, but it’s best to be honest. " I have been a regular at Shun Xing for years, but something seems off recently. The quality has dipped significantly, and it's evident. My last order featured undercooked chicken and overly greasy rice. Despite being long-time customers we felt like the staff didn’t care much about our experience. I decided it's probably best to take my business elsewhere now. Such a shame considering how much I used to enjoy this place. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had a horrible experience at Shun Xing recently. My beef and broccoli arrived with completely overcooked beef and mysterious sides I didn’t order. What was even more frustrating was that I paid a hefty price for what turned out to be substandard food. They claim to have good portions, but I felt like I got ripped off. I won’t be coming back anytime soon. " (*Curated Review*)
" I just had the lunch buffet at Shun Xing and oh boy, what a difference it made! The food was fresh and varied, with multiple dishes that would please any palate. Everything was hot and well-prepared. It's nice to indulge in Chinese cuisine without worrying about quality. The atmosphere was lively, and the service was always attentive without hovering over me. I left feeling satisfied, full, and looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend it! " (*Curated Review*)
" After hearing mixed pulses about this restaurant, I decided to try it out for myself. The atmosphere was pretty average, not what I would consider a true Chinese dining experience, but I was willing to look past that for good food. However, they missed the mark on my order, serving me tasteless fried rice and chicken that seemed quite undercooked. Overall, a disappointing visit. I expected better from a long-standing place. " Had a dinner party and wanted to order out from Shun Xing to treat my friends. Unfortunately, I was let down. The General Tso’s chicken was not properly cooked, and most dishes seemed hastily prepared. I think perhaps the staff was overworked that night. Fortunately, the appetizers were acceptable, but that’s not enough to warrant a special order. I was embarrassed that I chose this place! " (*Curated Review*)
" Not my favorite Chinese spot but decent for a quick lunch. Service is speedy, and the staff is generally attentive. Combo plates provide a fair amount of food, but the flavors leave something to be desired. I enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, but it was a bit greasy. I think there are better options in town, yet Shun Xing is still a contender. " (*Curated Review*)
