" Jang Won has a special place in my heart as it's where I first tried jjajangmyeon years ago. Every visit has been delightful, and I've returned multiple times throughout the years. They consistently deliver amazing flavors that keep me coming back. Their tangsuyuk is among the best I've had, very crispy with the perfect sauce on the side. Though the wait times for food can be longer during peak hours, the flavors make it worth the wait. The restaurant vibe is friendly, and it's bustling with energy. Can't recommend this place enough if you're seeking authentic Korean-style Chinese food! " (*Curated Review*)
" I visited Jang Won on a friend's recommendation and was eager to try their dishes. We ordered the signature jjajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, and some fried rice to share. The food came out quickly, but unfortunately, the jjajangmyeon was quite salty for my taste, which overshadowed the dish's authentic flavors. The tangsuyuk, however, was crispy and delicious, showcasing the restaurant's strengths. I hope this was just an off day for them because I've heard such great things. Service was average; I felt a bit rushed since the table was small and others were waiting. I would give them another chance, but I’d go for their fried rice next time! " (*Curated Review*)
" My family and I went to Jang Won for a Saturday dinner after a busy week, and what a treat it was! From the moment we walked in, we could smell the wonderful aromas of the dishes being prepared. We ordered the jjajangmyeon and tangsuyuk, and both were excellent. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the black bean sauce was rich and flavorful. The tangsuyuk was crispy outside and tender inside, served with a delicious sweet and sour sauce. I also appreciated the attentive service; our waitress was friendly and made good recommendations. The portions were generous, leaving us full and satisfied. This place certainly felt authentic, reminiscent of the meals I used to enjoy back home. We're definitely planning to return soon! " I was really looking forward to dining at Jang Won but left feeling indifferent. Though the food was hot and came out quickly, the flavors didn’t hit the mark. The jjajangmyeon was overly sweet, while the tangsuyuk was just average compared to other Korean restaurants I’ve visited. On a brighter note, the service was friendly and my waiter attentive to my needs. Still, for the price, I expected much more delicately prepared dishes. I might try their fried rice next time if I ever decide to return, but I wouldn't rush back. " (*Curated Review*)
" I discovered Jang Won through my Korean friends and it has quickly become my favorite spot for Korean-Chinese cuisine! The jjamppong here is luxurious, packed with seafood, and has a rich broth that warms the soul. The jjajangmyeon never disappoints; its black bean sauce is thick and fulfilling. I appreciate the authentic tastes that bring back memories. When I go there, service is usually friendly, but I have encountered varying levels of attentiveness. The atmosphere is bustling, which gives it a homey feel, especially during dinner services. I look forward to sharing this place with more friends! " (*Curated Review*)
" Tried Jang Won for the first time last week, and it was lovely! I went after reading all the positive feedback and was excited to find out for myself. The ambiance was a bit loud, but that only added to the lively atmosphere. I particularly loved the jjamppong along with their fried rice. We also ordered dumplings which were spot on – crunchy and filled with meat! The portions were generous for the pricing. I will definitely be back to explore more dishes and satisfy my cravings for flavorful Korean food! " (*Curated Review*)
" My recent dinner at Jang Won was both delightful and disappointing. The dishes we tried – including the jjajangmyeon and jjamppong – were impressive in terms of flavors and portion sizes. However, the atmosphere was a bit chaotic, which took away from the overall experience. We felt more rushed than relaxed, partially because our server tended to crowd our table. As much as I adored the food itself, the service aspects left much to be desired. I might consider returning on a less busy evening for a better experience. " (*Curated Review*)
