" The atmosphere inside New First Dragon is really relaxed and welcoming. I was surprised at how fast my order was ready. I decided on the chicken chow mein and it was okay; the flavor was different than what I’m used to, almost sweet. The fried rice was good though, which made up for it a little. The first time, everything was spot on, and I really enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. The second time, however, was a letdown. The food was a bit greasy and the flavors were muted. It’s clear they have peaks and valleys in terms of quality. I appreciate their rapid service, but consistency is missing. " New First Dragon is my go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. The flavors are robust and well-prepared; however, they do need to work on portion sizes sometimes. My last order of General Tso’s Chicken was great but a bit smaller than I expected. The service is always prompt and friendly. " A recent visit to New First Dragon left much to be desired. While I have enjoyed their food in the past, my last order of sesame chicken was undercooked and lacked flavor. The egg rolls were also overcooked, making them chewy and tough to eat. I was disappointed because I had high expectations based on previous visits. The ambiance remains nice, and the staff was genuinely friendly, which is a redeeming quality. However, I think they need to up their game in the kitchen to avoid losing loyal customers.
