" I tried Sam's recently and left feeling very underwhelmed. The eggplant rollatini I ordered was far too salty. The service was also a bit complacent as I had to remind the server of some items we were missing. Overall, I expected more from an establishment with such a good reputation. The atmosphere was nice, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to redeem my experience. I may try it again someday. " (*Curated Review*)
" I had a mixed experience at Sam's last weekend. While both the pasta and the pizza tasted good, they didn’t meet the expectations set by various reviews. The portion sizes felt smaller than what I'm used to for the prices. The service was somewhat inattentive and we had to flag down the waiter several times. Still, the place had an old-world charm and seemed to be loved by the locals. I'm not entirely sure if I would return, but I might give it another chance to see if my next experience improves. " I recently took my family to Sam's and had an enjoyable time! The atmosphere felt very welcoming and casual. All of us ordered different dishes, and gladly, there was something for everyone. The seafood linguine was a standout and had plenty of clams and shrimp. Service wasn’t the quickest, but it was definitely nice and attentive. I would recommend this place if you're in the area — it has that true Italian essence. " (*Curated Review*)
" I went on a quiet Wednesday night, and I was pleasantly surprised by the attentive service. The clam pizza was fantastic, and certainly one of the highlights of my meal. While the price seemed a little high, the quality made it worth every penny. I appreciate that they focus on authentic flavors rather than trendy menu items. This restaurant is a must-try for anyone looking for genuine Italian fare in East Hampton! " (*Curated Review*)
" Sam's has been a favorite of mine for years! Every time my husband and I visit the Hamptons, we make a point to come here. The food is always delicious. I particularly love their subs and meatballs; they remind me of my childhood! The service is typically friendly, but last summer we had a bad experience with our waiter who forgot our order, which was disappointing given how much we usually enjoy the place. Overall, we’ll keep coming back because the food quality makes up for the occasional hiccup. " (*Curated Review*)
" Our experience at Sam's was fantastic. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted, and the atmosphere felt cozy. My friends and I tried the Mediterranean pizza, and it was bursting with fresh flavors. I can still taste the garlic and herbs — definitely one of the best pizzas I've had! Service was prompt and friendly. We also enjoyed an arugula salad that complemented our meal. I'll be coming back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" Sam’s is a gem! From their famous chicken Parmesan to their rich marinara sauce, everything is divine! I love how they haven’t compromised their authenticity as many restaurants do in touristy areas. You can always taste the freshness of the ingredients, and they really capture the essence of traditional Italian cuisine. We also had the baked ziti, and the cheese was melted perfectly! The service was exceptional, and we never felt rushed even though it was quite busy. Will definitely return! " (*Curated Review*)
