" Disapesappointment would be an understatement for this restaurant. First, the reservations were difficult to make as I had to check multiple times to get a table for a busy Saturday night. When we finally arrived, they didn’t have our reservation on record. After we were seated, the wait for service was unreasonably long and my water remained unfilled for over half an hour! " One of the best meals I’ve had in St. Louis! Roberto's sets a high bar for Italian dining. The food was authentic, each course crafted carefully. The stuffed mushrooms and calamari were fantastic starters, and it only got better from there. My chicken piccata was well prepared, and my partner’s meal had abundant seafood. The special of the day was risotto, which was among the best I’ve ever tasted—creamy and rich. The ambiance felt elegant yet unpretentious, great for any gathering. " We decided to try Roberto's after reading numerous great reviews. I’ve got to say, while it started well, it quickly went downhill. The spinach salad we ordered was fresh but the dressing was bland. When the entrees arrived, my pasta was overcooked and lacked seasoning. The service was okay but not memorable. " As soon as we walked into Roberto's, we were met with a very pleasant aroma of Italian dishes cooking in the air. We were seated quickly and our server promptly introduced herself. I tried the Fettuccine Alfredo, hoping it would live up to the hype. While the pasta was creamy and had a wonderful savory taste, I feel it could've used more vegetables or seafood to match my own preferences.
