" L'Oca d'Oro is quickly becoming one of my favorites in Austin! I loved the vibrant decor and how welcoming the staff were during my visit last month. We ordered several different things to share, and the polpette were a definite highlight along with their innovative twist on classic dishes. For dessert, I had the tiramisu that was heavenly. The only downside was how pricey everything seemed for the portion sizes offered. That being said, I'll be coming back again soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" Absolutely loved my recent visit to L'Oca d'Oro! The atmosphere was inviting, and I really enjoyed watching the chefs work their magic in the kitchen. We ordered a mix of pasta dishes and appetizers, all of which were fantastic. The fresh ingredients really made the dishes stand out, especially the fresh mozzarella with their sweet onion jam! Certainly a place we plan to revisit with friends! " (*Curated Review*)
" If you're looking for an Italian restaurant with a modern twist, check out L'Oca d'Oro. I took my family here last week, and we were all amazed by the vibrant flavors and fresh dishes. The beet pasta surprised us with its unique taste! However, I do agree that the pricing is on the higher side, particularly for the quantity served, which left some at the table still hungry. But the quality of food made up for it in some ways. We left with happy bellies, though perhaps not as full as we’d hoped. " (*Curated Review*)
" This was my first visit to L'Oca d'Oro, and I have to say, I was impressed with the quality of food overall. The tortellini was simply outstanding and freshly made. The combinations of flavors are incredible; I also loved the lemony notes in the sauce. The atmosphere was chic, and I appreciated the added touches in service as the staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. However, I felt the portion sizes left much to desire, especially for the price. But the experience was still enjoyable, and I would love to come back to try more! " (*Curated Review*)
" Had dinner at L'Oca d'Oro last night, and it was an experience to remember. Each pasta dish we shared had so much love poured into it, and it was apparent by the first bite. The ragu was a personal favorite! While the meal was truly delightful, I did feel the amount served was a bit limited relative to the price. Still very happy with the meal quality and eager to try something new on our next visit! " (*Curated Review*)
" My partner and I decided to try L'Oca d'Oro for our date night and it was perfect! We started with their focaccia, which came hot and paired deliciously with the olive oil. For our mains, we shared the squid ink pasta and the beef ragu pappardelle. Both were absolutely divine! Each bite was bursting with flavor. The service was personal, and we even got recommendations for wine pairings that elevated our dishes. Would definitely recommend for a romantic night out! However, the price points made us think twice if we could enjoy this often. " (*Curated Review*)
" I recently discovered L'Oca d'Oro and have become a steadfast fan. The ambiance is charming, and the food is fantastic. We started with the rosemary focaccia, which was warm and paired wonderfully with high-quality olive oil. My main dish, the pappardelle, was filled with tender beef and rich flavors that reminded me of meals my grandmother used to make. It’s worth noting that portions are on the smaller side, so if you're accustomed to hearty servings, you may want to order an extra dish. Overall, a highly recommended spot for a cozy dinner.
