" I recently took my family to King Garden, hoping to enjoy classic Chinese dishes as we had in the past. Unfortunately, I was let down. Every dish we ordered came with less flavor than expected, and the portion sizes were much smaller than they used to be. It seemed like they were cutting corners on ingredients. " I used to love King Garden, but it feels like it has lost its charm. The new management has definitely changed the recipes, and not for the better. What used to be flavorful chicken has now turned into dryness. The lady managing was sweet but seemed overwhelmed and underappreciated. The whole experience felt rushed, and the dirty tables didn't help at all. I wish they could get it together; this was a place I used to brag about! Hopefully, they can regain what they had. It felt like they just tossed some vegetables and noodles together without any seasoning. The service was okay, but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. It pains me to say that, but the dishes no longer hold the authenticity they once did. The general Tso’s chicken seemed soggy, not crispy, and the rice was just plain and dry. " On my last couple of visits, it’s clear King Garden has lost its edge. The egg rolls were burnt; frankly, I’ve had better from the freezer aisle at the supermarket. Service was adequate but not enough to compensate for the lack of flavors in every dish we ordered. The atmosphere definitely needs a refresh, it feels like it has been stuck in time.
