" I'm absolutely in love with this place! The staff is incredibly friendly, from the bartenders to the frequent patrons all around! The mocktail I ordered was honestly one of the best I've ever had. I also had their infamous loaded nachos, and I can promise they didn’t disappoint! Plenty for sharing. It’s the spot to relax after a long day of exploring Tahoe's beautiful outdoors. I can't wait to return and bring friends. This bar has become my new local place! " (*Curated Review*)
" Just got back from a night at Pete 'n Peters, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The ambiance was inviting and laid back, perfect for unwinding after a busy day outdoors. The drink specials were fantastic, and I loved meeting some of the locals at the bar. I did try the tacos, which were very delicious for only $3! Such good value. The staff was friendly, although one bartender seemed a bit overwhelmed. Overall, a great experience, and I can't wait to go back again next time I'm in Tahoe. " (*Curated Review*)
" Having just moved to Tahoe, I was excited to find a friendly local bar like Pete 'n Peters. The environment felt alive, with people sharing stories and pool games all around. Although my drink was a tad slow in arriving, it was spot-on when I got it; I had a craft beer that was reasonably priced at $5 a pint. The others around me were digging into their food, but I didn’t indulge this time. What I appreciate most is the welcoming vibe of the place; it felt like a community gathering spot rather than just another bar. " (*Curated Review*)
" Frankly, my experience was quite disappointing. Initially, I was excited to check this bar out; it had been highly recommended for its atmosphere and local beer options. However, upon arriving, I felt an immediate sense of exclusion. The bartender seemed uninterested and dismissive, focusing her attention on a group of regulars while I felt overlooked. Even the drinks were mediocre. I really wanted to enjoy my visit, but I ended up leaving feeling unsatisfied. I won’t be back. " (*Curated Review*)
" Pete 'n Peters is where you should go if you want to feel like a local. The service is hit or miss, but the vibe makes up for it. I had a great time playing pool and tossing darts with friends. The place can get busy, and it can take a while to get a drink sometimes, but you end up chatting with the locals, which makes the wait worthwhile. I can't comment much on the food; I had a couple of beers and a couple of shots, which were reasonably priced. I recommend checking it out for a fun time – just don't expect five-star service.
