PanBao66 六六生煎王

Chinese Restaurant $$ 4.2 (62)

PanBao66 is celebrated for its authentic Shanghainese pan-fried buns, which many customers compare favorably to traditional versions found in Shanghai. The buns are made fresh on-site, filled with a savory pork broth, and feature a perfectly crispy base. However, service can be inconsistent and the atmosphere, being in a food court, is more bustling than cozy.

" I came across PanBao66 during a shopping trip in New World Mall and was drawn in by the lines forming outside. Once I tried their pan-fried buns, I could see why! They were heavenly! Each bun was perfectly fried, and the pork broth inside was a delightful surprise. I must admit, I did burn my tongue, but it was worth every drop. I paired them with black vinegar for some tang, and they were perfect. For the price, getting six buns for just $9 is a steal! I will definitely be back to get my fix. " (*Curated Review*)

" Perfectly fried, juicy filling – PanBao66 really hits the spot for my dumpling cravings. The rich broth inside makes it feel like a special treat every time. However, the food court setting isn’t the best for ambiance, and service felt very utilitarian on my last visit. Even so, I’ll continue to come back for those delectable buns! " (*Curated Review*)

" PanBao66 is a hot spot for dumpling lovers in Flushing! Every time I go, I am reminded why it’s so popular. The pans are sizzling, and the aroma is mouth-watering! The buns are fried fresh and filled with this amazing savory soup. A fantastic bite! The seating in the food court is quite minimal and can get quite noisy at peak times, but don’t let that deter you! You’ll have a great meal here. " (*Curated Review*)

" PanBao66 never fails to impress! I always order the pan fried buns and they are divine. The broth inside is a flavorful explosion with every bite, but I must say the prices have risen slightly. I think I still get good value for my money, although I wish they'd consider accepting more card payments, as the cash-only policy can be a hassle. All in all, a fantastic treat for any dumpling lover! " (*Curated Review*)

" Wow! Just wow! This place is a must-visit if you're in Flushing and love dumplings. I was blown away by the taste and quality of their buns. The thin skin and hearty filling are immerse, but the service was a tad slow and impersonal during my visit. I would definitely go back to experience that delicious soup-filled combo again! " Had the chance to stop by PanBao66 after hearing so much about their buns. I couldn’t have been happier! Freshly made, piping hot, and bursting with flavor. The only downside? The service was quite chaotic. They're juggling a lot, but a smile would make it much better! All in all, they’ve certainly nailed the authentic taste I was craving. " (*Curated Review*)

" I’ve been coming to PanBao66 for years and I still think they have the best sheng jian bao around. The buns are fresh, hot, and juicy. There is something really comforting about that burst of flavor when you bite into one. I have to mention the service is often lackluster, but I ignore it because the food is so good! Worth every penny! " (*Curated Review*)
