" LOVE this place! Every time I go, I am consistently impressed by the quality of food. Particularly, their general tso's chicken is the best I ever had! The service is always friendly and efficient, and though the dining room is closed, I always find something good from their takeout menu. I wish they had more daily specials, but it’s always worth the drive! Friendly people, great food, it’s my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant! " (*Curated Review*)
" If you are searching for authentic Chinese cuisine, Wah Lan is the place to be! The garlic shrimp I ordered was packed with flavor, and the fried rice was just right! I came here during lunchtime, and while the buffet selection wasn’t extensive, the quality was top-notch. It’s a family-run restaurant, which adds to the charm and warm service. I can't recommend the wonton soup enough - it's simply one of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone nearby! I'll be back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" I have been a fan of Wah Lan for years, and it never disappoints! Unfortunately, since COVID, the dining area hasn’t reopened, and that's a bummer. I miss enjoying my meal on-site. The food remains stellar, especially the wonton soup and the fried tofu—a must-try! The service has always been a bit slow, but they consistently have quality takeout. It reminds me of home-cooked meals, so I'll always keep coming back! " (*Curated Review*)
" I have tried Wah Lan several times and typically enjoy the experience. The food generally hits the mark, but there have been a few inconsistencies. The last time I ordered from the buffet, the options were limited compared to previous visits. The taste, however, always shines through. Service is a bit slow, especially when they are busy, but it seems to be a family-run business which is endearing. For authentic Chinese food, Wah Lan remains one of my favorites! " I had lunch at Wah Lan last week, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. The atmosphere was nice, albeit slightly cramped since they only offer takeout currently. I decided to try their buffet which was reasonable, but I expected a wider variety of dishes. The food tasted decent, but some items could have been fresher. One thing that disappointed me was the service; it felt rushed, and I didn’t feel welcomed. I might consider coming back for the food, but I hope the service improves. " (*Curated Review*)
" I went to Wah Lan for a quick lunch and found it rather pleasant. The fried rice was delicious and the soy sauce had great flavor. However, the restaurant was busy, and I had to wait a bit longer than I would have liked for my order. I’ll give it another shot since the food quality was impressive, but I do hope their service can improve during busy hours. " (*Curated Review*)
" What a shame! I really wanted to enjoy my meal, but I found the service markedly lacking during my visit. I put in my order but had to wait much too long and felt unnoticed while waiting. When the food finally arrived, it was good but not worth the wait. The wontons were undercooked too. I will choose another option next time. " (*Curated Review*)
