" I came to Akiko’s expecting to experience authentic Japanese omakase, and for the most part, that’s exactly what I got. The fish was fresh and beautifully prepared, although the seasoning could be hit or miss on certain dishes. I felt that some items didn’t quite hit the mark and left me wishing for more depth in flavor. While the service was pleasant, it lacked the intimacy I hoped to find in this setting.
