" I finally visited Abo Youssef after months of hearing rave reviews and it did NOT disappoint. I ordered the chicken shawarma and it had the perfect amount of seasoning. The pita was warm and fluffy, complementing the dish beautifully. The wait time was minimal and the owner was incredibly friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable. " Abo Youssef was an experience worth every penny! I indulged in the gyro plate and it was simply the best. The meat was tender and packed with flavor, and I loved the garlic sauce that came with it. What impressed me the most was how generous the portions were, it was a lot of food for a fair price. " One of the best Mediterranean spots I've found in Austin. I visited Abo Youssef for the first time and was blown away by the authenticity of the dishes. The falafel was crispy and the spicy lamb kebab was so flavorful. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the portions are generous. " Amazing! The variety at Abo Youssef's was incredible. I had the gyro plate, and my partner had the chicken shawarma. Both dishes were generous in portion size and wonderfully seasoned. The lentil soup was a surprise favorite, rich and hearty! Our time there was made even better by the warm, friendly service of the owner. He clearly takes pride in his food, and it shows.
