" Having tried many Italian restaurants both in NYC and Italy, I can tell you that Il Monello holds its own. Their traditional dishes are crafted with genuine Italian techniques and flavors, making it feel authentically Italian, especially the pasta dishes. I had the lasagna, and it was exquisite. The meat was flavorful and the layers were well defined. The ambience felt both elegant and relaxed, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. Our server was also very knowledgeable about the wine selections. On the downside, the wait for our food was slightly longer than anticipated, but to me, it was worth it.
