" Visiting Cafe Hong Kong brought back so many memories of my trips to Hong Kong! The dishes are so authentic and made my heart happy. We tried the fried garlicky chicken and the braised bitter melon with beef, both of which were done excellently. The fried chicken was crispy, and the bitter melon helped balance the rich flavors. The portions are substantial, and we left feeling very satisfied. The service was decent although not overly attentive, but the food definitely made up for it. Don’t forget to try the baked tomato pork chop fried rice; it’s an absolute must! Overall, a fantastic experience and I can't wait to come back! " (*Curated Review*)
" Cafe Hong Kong embodies that authentic Cantonese flavor everyone craves. I could truly taste the love in each dish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, which set the tone for the evening. Each dish we tried was amazing—the sweet and sour pork was a standout! The ambiance is lively but has that old-school charm; I loved it. Just a reminder, it’s cash only! I’ll be coming back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" My family and I came to Cafe Hong Kong after hearing great reviews from friends. The restaurant was packed, which was a good sign. We ordered a few popular dishes, and the highlights were definitely the steamed carp and the fried rice with lobster. The carp was so fresh, and the fried rice was incredibly flavorful with big pieces of lobster. The only downside was that the service was slightly slow, especially in the beginning, but as we settled in, everything came out pretty promptly. Definitely make sure to bring cash as they do not accept cards. Overall, I was quite satisfied and will return for more! " (*Curated Review*)
" Just visited Cafe Hong Kong recently, and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious: I particularly enjoyed the steady flow of dishes that kept arriving at our table. The sweet and sour pork was particularly memorable, with the right balance of crunchiness and flavor. However, the only downside was the wait time for a table; we had to stand outside for about 30 minutes before we were seated. Once seated, things moved along smoothly, and we enjoyed our meal thoroughly. Overall, I would rate it a solid 4 out of 5 for its food and atmosphere! " (*Curated Review*)
" I'm a big fan of authentic Chinese food, and Cafe Hong Kong did not disappoint! The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the lobster dishes. I wish they had a broader menu, as some options seemed quite typical. The ambiance is casual and welcoming, just like a traditional setting. While the service could improve slightly, especially during rush hours, overall, it remains one of the best choices for Chinese cuisine. I'd recommend trying their specials. " (*Curated Review*)
" I can confidently say Cafe Hong Kong is one of the better spots for authentic Chinese food in the area. The portions are huge, with every dish we tried being served pleasantly hot and fresh. The staff were friendly though understandably busy during dinner hours. I strongly recommend their crispy chicken and the sautéed pea shoots - both were standout dishes! Everything was extremely flavorful, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality of the food. Overall, I'm extremely pleased and would gladly return! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had heard good things about Cafe Hong Kong, and finally got the chance to visit. I ordered the crispy garlic chicken and steamed fish, and they were both phenomenal. The ambiance felt very authentic with a lot of hustle and bustle typical for a joint like this. My only complaint would be that they don't take credit cards. Also, the waits can be long at peak times, so I'll probably make reservations next time. All in all, a satisfying dining experience! " (*Curated Review*)
