The flavors were incredible, and the fish was so fresh. The ambiance was relaxed without overly loud music, making it perfect for a leisurely dinner. " What a hidden gem! I was impressed by the freshness of the sushi served here. The menu had a great variety of rolls that catered to all tastes. I tried the spicy tuna roll and hoped it would be well-prepared and it was! The only downside was that the rolls were slightly pricier than what I’m used to. But given the quality of the ingredients, I certainly understood that justified price. I would definitely recommend Suishin to anyone looking to try out some great sushi in Folsom. " Unfortunately, my experience at Suishin Sushi was not what I expected based on the high praise I had heard. The decor felt outdated and cluttered, which was disappointing. I decided to order a couple of specialty rolls expecting big flavors, but they fell flat and tasted bland. On top of that, one roll seemed a bit warmer than I would have liked for sushi; that’s not a great sign. The service was friendly, and they quickly checked on us, which was a plus. While I appreciate that they are trying to maintain their business in these hard times, I think they really need to revamp their offerings and atmosphere to compete with other sushi restaurants in the area.
