" My experience at NAR was just alright. While the restaurant had a stylish atmosphere and the service was polite and attentive, I found the food not as authentic as I had hoped. The dishes tasted good, but felt too modernized for my palate. The portions also were quite small, which was disappointing. " I’m so grateful I stumbled upon NAR! The Turkish cuisine is exquisite, and the service was extremely attentive without being overbearing. I highly recommend their mezze platter followed by the Sultan's Bliss for dessert, it was heavenly! The colors and flavors in each dish were vibrant and enticing. I do think the portion sizes could be improved for the main courses, but it’s a worthy visit for anyone looking to indulge in Turkish delicacies. The Nar Kebab was incredibly tender and flavorful, paired with a delightful smoked yogurt dip. The service was stellar; it’s evident that the staff is well-trained and passionate about their work. " NAR has set a new standard for Turkish cuisine in NYC! The moment we sat down, we were served freshly baked bread with olive oil—so delicious! I love the creative spins on traditional dishes. The stuffed grape leaves had a surprising twist that I adored. However, the kabobs, while perfectly grilled, were a little small for the price.
