" After hearing rave reviews from friends, I finally tried Kowloon. Their hot and sour soup was rich and flavorful, definitely one of the best I've had around. I wasn't a fan of the sesame chicken as it didn't have the crunch I expected. However, the overall experience was positive, mainly due to the attentive service and reasonable prices. " Kowloon is nice restaurant but my last takeout order was just okay. I felt the chicken in my sesame chicken was a bit overcooked and the sauce didn't have that signature sesame flavor I'm used to. I’m hoping they just had an off day because it's usually much better. Service was good when I went in to order but the food was lacking this time. " Kowloon is the best Chinese restaurant I have found in Bethel. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home. Their food is a breath of fresh air compared to the overly greasy Chinese takeout chains. The shrimp fried rice is rich and perfectly seasoned, and the spring rolls could definitely be a meal on their own! I must mention the customer service as well; everyone is incredibly kind and attentive. It’s safe to say I am a loyal fan of Kowloon and will continue to bring my friends for a nice meal! " My recent visit was less than satisfactory, unfortunately. I ordered the general tso's chicken and it was extremely salty. Upon bringing it to the attention of the staff, they were polite but offered no solutions to rectify the issue. I believe they are struggling with consistency in flavor. " After trying so many Chinese places, I can say Kowloon is among the top. The service is always outstanding. The owners are friendly, which adds a lovely personal touch. The ambience is cozy, perfect for a casual dinner with friends. Their specials are worth the price as you get large portions, especially their fried rice.
